7:00 PM Breeding and Sugar - Tinski Quartet-

The Tinski Quartet forges a melodically and groove-oriented path through the jungle of modern jazz. Inspired by jazz icons like Herbie Hancock and Carla Bley, the four musicians lend the quartet an original expression characterized by a trumpet sound reminiscent of cool jazz legends such as Miles Davis and Chat Baker. The unconventional forms and rhythms of the pieces are occasionally interspersed with groovy, minimalist elements and catchy melodies. In this way, the quartet succeeds in creating a musical experience that elegantly and subtly generates a captivating ebb and flow of tension, moving from very quiet, almost meditative passages to energetically expansive moments.

As BOXI BARRE, four unique Berliners combine their musical talents – Schlott, Werner, Kuchenbecker, and Heat. This quartet from Friedrichshain brings a smile to your face and energetically conquers the next side of the street. They want people to dance! What other band captures the flair of their neighborhood so wonderfully and translates it into danceable music? BOXI BARRE.

Kombo Kalèsch was originally founded as a fairground band, but then one thing led to another and things turned out as they had to.

With a mixture of rumbling, shrill Klezmer and Balkan-style umba-umpa

The ensemble drives its audience into a frenzied dance frenzy and sings in known and unknown languages about love, ladybugs and traditional baked goods.
